MG M9 Limousine
Some of you might remember the MG M9 from the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 a few months ago. The M9 made its debut there. Needless to say, it drew massive attention from the media and car enthusiasts alike. The premium elements on the outside and inside were evident. Also, the official images of the second row indicate a lounge treatment with captain seats with tons of functions to take care of the utmost comfort and convenience of the users. The massive panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting add to the opulent vibe. MG has announced some top highlights, including:
- Yacht-style Panoramic Sunroof
- 64-colour Ambient Lighting
- 12-speaker Sound System
- Pure Black or Cognac Brown Interiors
- Presidential Seats
- 16-way Adjustment
- 8 Massage Settings
- Ventilation and Heating for Seats
- Longest and Widest in the Segment
On this occasion, Milin Shah, Interim Head, MG SELECT, remarked, “The MG M9 is a new age car crafted for discerning customers seeking an elevated experience of being chauffeured. As the longest and widest in the segment, it offers luxury of space, comfort and convenience, redefining what a Presidential Limousine can be.” Clearly, the M9 will be in a league of its own. More details will surface in the coming weeks.
My View
JSW MG Motor India Pvt. Ltd. is in the process of creating a premium brand image with all sorts of modern vehicles in India. With its first few cars like the Hector, Gloster and Astor, it was not able to achieve as high sales as it might have anticipated. However, with EVs like the Comet and Windsor, it has tasted success. Going forward, it is expanding its portfolio across the entire range of spectrum with EVs and luxury SUVs like the Majestor. Let us see how things pan out in the future.
