With the BS6 update, Mahindra has discontinued the previous base K2 trim of the KUV 100NXT. Now thus available in four variants, the KUV 100NXT can be had in either a 5-seater or a 6-seater configuration. Mahindra has also dropped the 1.2L diesel engine from the lineup due to poor sales and its now available as a petrol only model. Here’s a variant-wise price list of the BS6 Mahindra KUV 100NXT :

K2+Rs 5.50 lakh
K4+Rs 5.96 lakh
K6+Rs 6.78 lakh
K8Rs 7.12 lakh

The most notable change has only been the BS6 compliance for the KUV 100NXT. It continues to be powered by a 1.2L, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces the same 83hp and 115Nm of peak torque, just as the BS4-spec model. The engine comes mated only to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

There has been no change in terms of exterior styling for this cross-hatch. It continues to offer the same exterior features including the same grille design, front and rear bumpers, faux skid plates and 15-inch alloy wheels for the top-spec model. There has been no change on the inside either in terms of design or equipment.

In terms of rivals, the KUV 100NXT rivals the likes of the Ford Fresstyle and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
