Renault is offering heavy discount and offers for BS6 Duster. It is already the cheapest SUV that you can buy in the 4.2-metre compact SUV segment.
Renault Duster is now BS6 compliant with a petrol engine only. Due to the BS6 emission norms, its 1.5 Litre diesel engine has been discontinued completely. Now, it gets a 1.5 Litre petrol engine that is paired with a 5-speed MT and a CVT gearbox. The engine produces 104 PS and does not get the AWD configuration as well.
As you can see, the BS6 Duster is now offered with a hefty discount of up to Rs 70,000. There’s 15,000 instant cash discount, Rs 25,000 exchange bonus, Rs 20,000 loyalty bonus for existing Renault buyers and additional Rs 10,000 Corporate Discount benefit. As of now, among the three Renault cars, Duster gets the highest discounts.

The price of BS6 Renault Duster starts at Rs 8.49 Lakhs and is available in three variants. The mid-spec RXS variant goes for Rs 9.29 Lakhs and the top-end RXZ is priced for Rs 9.99 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom). Earlier the top-end variants like AWD and Diesel-AMT used to cost above Rs 12 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
If you meet all of these conditions, you could get the base variant for under Rs 8 Lakhs. That makes it cheaper than a lot of compact SUVs which are a segment below the Duster. All the compact SUVs commence at around Rs 7-8 Lakhs up to Rs 12-13 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Duster will soon get a more powerful 1.3 Litre turbo-petrol engine. The Mercedes-Benz sourced engine is capable of producing 153 PS, making Duster the most powerful SUV in its class. Its rivals include Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti S-Cross and Nissan Kicks. The latter is going to get the same engine as well.

Features onboard Duster include touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Cruise Control, Automatic AC Control, Projector headlamps, roof rails, adjustable driver seat height, electric ORVMs, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Rear parking sensors with a rear view camera.
