CF Moto 300SR is a fully-faired sportsbike that was recently unveiled in China. It is reportedly coming to India too but by mid-2020.
So, CF Moto has been trending in India for some time now, as the Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer is scheduled to debut in India, on 4th July. It will launch a big motorcycle lineup, all premium ones.
Next month, CF Moto is going to launch four new motorcycles – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT. All of them have already been spied testing in India, specifically in Hyderabad.
Weeks ago, the brand put a teaser of CF Moto 300SR under camouflage. It is going to be launched in the Chinese market soon, but will also enter our market. 300SR is a fully faired sportsbike.
Actually, last month, we saw the concept form of 250SR, which will inspire its design. It is a race-track ready sportsbike with clip-on handlebars, an aggressive headlamp cowl and an Akrapovic exhaust as well.
IAB reports that CF Moto 300SR will be launched in India, instead of the 250SR. Chances are that it could use the engine from 300NK, with better tuning, fit for performance.
The 292.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine produces 34 BHP and 20.5 Nm of peak torque, while the motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will reportedly get Sport and Rain Riding Modes as well.
The suspension and braking setup will be the same that come on 300NK. You will get upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Braking will be handled by Brembo disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel ABS.
Additionally, we could see features such as a fully digital instrument console, LED headlamps, split seats, low-set clip-ons and a small visor at the front. It is likely to get the Isle of Mile TT racer livery as well.
Once launched in India, we can expect the CF Moto 300SR to rival the likes of TVS Apache RR310, KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Our price expectations of the bike are around Rs 2 Lakhs.
