The spy images show a split LED taillamp design. In the current version, the LED taillamps are connected by a thick chrome bar accentuating the appearance. The new Seltos might borrow a few design elements from the international-spec Sportage. This would essentially translate into sharp features on the front, the signature Tiger-nose grille, redesigned bumpers and elegant LED DRLs to name a few. The overall silhouette is likely to remain the same.
ADAS Features
There is quite a buzz around the ADAS features, especially prevalent in the mid-size segment with products like the MG Astor. Reportedly, the facelifted Hyundai Creta will come equipped with such functions as well. In order to stay competitive against the rivals, Kia might also have to introduce ADAS features in the new Seltos. This would translate to functions like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, to name a few.

Specs
The engine and transmission options are also expected to be carried over from the current car. This means buyers will be able to choose between 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor. The 1.5-litre motors output 115PS each, while the turbo-petrol engine belts out 140PS. Also, all the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. However, the base petrol engine is optionally available with a CVT, while the diesel and turbo-petrol motors are on offer with a 6-speed torque-converter and 7-speed DCT option, respectively. Currently, the Seltos range between Rs 9.95 lakh and Rs 18.19 lakh, ex-showroom. There might be a slight increase in this price with the facelift.
