A famous car modification house has come up with an immaculate replica of a Hummer H2. I have reported countless cases of aftermarket replicas in recent times. These car shops now have access to world-class spare parts and automotive components. Hence, they are able to either import the genuine parts or create them in-house to offer cost-effective modified cars to the car owners. For now, let us take a look at the details of this unique iteration.
First Indian to Build His Own Hummer H2
This video comes from MIHIR GALAT on YouTube. He interacts with the creator of this special Hummer H2. The creator informs the viewers that the donor model for this replica is the 3.2-litre Ford Endeavour from 2007. However, to attain the dimensions of the original Hummer H2, he has worked extensively. That is the reason why this replica has an imposing road presence. While keeping the chassis and engine the same, he has extended the exterior to resemble the Hummer H2. At the front, the bumper is metallic but the bonnet is composed of carbon fiber. Also, the grille, headlamps and roof-mounted LED lights elevate the overall presence of the SUV.
On the sides, this H2 gets mud terrain tyres which accentuate the rugged nature of this replica. It gets side steps to ease the ingress and egress characteristics for the occupants. At the rear, it gets LED taillamps from a Bharat Benz truck, a metallic bumper and a wide and tall tailgate. Even on the inside, the owner wanted a basic cabin. As a result, the car shop owner painted the entire cabin and shifted the steering wheel, brake, accelerator and clutch to the right side due to the widening of the cabin. A panoramic sunroof has also been added. All in all, this looks like a perfect replica of the original Hummer when driving on the road.
Our View
I have been coming across such cases for quite some time now. People want to make their vehicles stand out from the crowd without having to spend exorbitant money on actual luxury cars. That is where replicas come into the picture. They allow people to experience a different version of their existing car with altered exterior and interior. It is a great way to install all those amenities on your car which you always desired. However, I must advise our readers to consult their local RTO before going for such extreme modifications. Remember most car customizations are illegal in India. Hence, you must be careful regarding that aspect.
