A Ford EcoSport crashed into a tree and rolled 5 times but kept all its occupants totally safe.

Ford EcoSport was always considered to be a tough and rugged compact SUV and it has proven that multiple times.

This video shows that the Ford EcoSport may well have been the first compact SUV in our market that deserved a 5-star score from Global NCAP. Ford has now discontinued its operations in India. Hence, the EcoSport is no longer there. But it has been one of the first products that actually popularised the compact SUV segment. Its owners were always satisfied with its build quality and the SUV had also proved itself time and time again during unfortunate instances. This video is yet another example of that.

Ford EcoSport 5-star Score?

This video has been uploaded on YouTube by Raftaar 7811. He posts such content to raise awareness regarding safety. According to the information in the video, an EcoSport is seen lying on the side of the road after the driver crashed it somewhere in Andhra Pradesh. The narrator mentions that the SUV was travelling at a speed of over 100 km/h when this happened. Because of such high speed, the SUV rolled over 4 times before ending up in the bushes. This happened because the driver was drunk.

However, the damage to the SUV clearly indicates its rugged build. Despite rolling over 4 times, there are not that many signs of damage to the surface. The roof has a minor dent, the doors also are hardly bent, the windshield is partially broken, the airbags have been deployed and all the other parts of the body are completely intact. The side pillars, windows, bonnet, etc are all in their natural forms. This proves that had the EcoSport been tested back then, it would have definitely scored 5 stars.
