There are numerous illicit practices that car dealers often adopt to squeeze some extra money from car buyers to gain some profit on the side.
Delhi Government is cracking down on car dealers who are charging handling or logistics charges to car buyers. Buying a new car can be an expensive affair. This becomes particularly apparent when one gets to know about all the additional amounts added to the ex-showroom price of a vehicle. This includes things like the RTO charges, registration charges, FASTag, insurance, accessories, etc. However, some dealerships try to charge some additional amount masked as handling, logistics or miscellaneous charges. Not any more!

There have been tons of cases where many car buyers have reported that the dealerships charge additional charges. They were reeling under these foul practices by the car dealers for a long time. There was no platform to report apart from Consumer Court which is a long process. To stay clear of that, car buyers used to pay these ridiculous charges. But the government stepping forward with this initiative is massively applauded by potential car buyers.
