Aura gets a 1.2 Litre BS-6 compliant petrol engine, that produces 83 BHP and 116 Nm of peak torque. 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT are offered on the sedan. As for the Amaze, it gets a 1.2 Litre i-VTEC engine, producing 90 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a CVT gearbox.

Further, the Aura also gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Venue. The motor is capable of producing 100 BHP and 172 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed MT as standard fitment.

Amaze uses a more powerful 1.5 Litre i-DTEC diesel engine, producing 100 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The CVT variants produce 80 BHP an 160 Nm of peak torque. In the case of engines, the Amaze diesel offers much more power.
