In fact, he is able to carry some speed into the curves. With frequent downshifts, he controls the SUV quite well. All in all, the performance of the Jimny was quite impressive.

The regular Maruti Jimny comes with a 1.5-litre engine that runs on petrol. It gives a good amount of power, with 103 hp and 134 Nm of peak power and torque. You can get this engine with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. It sends power to all four wheels using Suzuki’s special ALLGRIP PRO 4×4 system, which includes features like a low-range transfer case and a locking differential. The SUV can handle steep slopes better, with angles of 36° for approaching obstacles, 24° for going over obstacles, and 50° for leaving them behind. As for the price, it stays competitive, ranging from Rs 12.74 lakh to Rs 14.95 lakh, ex-showroom.

This is a great example of what the Maruti Jimny is capable of even on the track. Many people think that it might not be a great highway cruiser. But this video gives the viewers an idea of what the lightweight off-roader can offer. Sure, the owners won’t take it to race tracks. But they will use it on the highways. This video definitely brought out a different side of the prominent SUV. But we won’t encourage our readers to put their Jimnys into race tracks for no reason at all.
