Jawa Dealership

Recent reports regarding Jawa Motorcycles suggest that the waiting period is still up by 7 months and more. The deliveries commenced on 31st March.

Still no respite to the buyers. The deliveries of Jawa Motorcycles have commenced across the country two months back, but the waiting period is still high. Currently, it is up to 7 months from now.

Buyers who had done the bookings before and a couple of days after the launch date have received their bikes. Last when we received an update, the waiting period was up to September 2019. Seven months from now means up to December 2019.

Jawa Dealership

The online bookings for the Jawa and Forty-Two were closed back in December 2018. The bikes were launched in Mid-November, while the deliveries began in March, nearly 5 months later.

Jawa Motorcycles received an overwhelming response in India. Their popularity began right from the time Classic Legends confirmed that it will be coming soon. Many two-wheeler enthusiasts loved the revival of one of the most iconic motorcycles.

Its demand increased once Jawa and Forty-Two were introduced with dual-channel ABS and dual-disc brake setup. It was originally launched with single disc and ABS setup.

Both the bikes use a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine, that puts out 27 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Recently, Classic Legends disclosed the fuel efficiency of both bikes. ARAI-claimed mileage stands at 37.5 kmpl, which can easily come down to 31-32 kmpl on real-road conditions.

While Jawa still carries the old touch with identical styling and the legendary Maroon colour, Forty-Two is a modern version of it. It gets modern fits and finishes like handlebar-end mirrors and an off-set speedometer.

Jawa Forty Two is priced from Rs 1.55 Lakhs to Rs 1.64 Lakhs. The regular one goes for Rs 1.64 Lakhs to Rs 1.73 Lakhs. The last one left, Perak, goes for 1.89 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom).
