A dealership video has come up which shows the different accessories offered on Jawa Motorcycles. It includes a backrest, centre stand and much more.
While the deliveries of Jawa Motorcycles are ongoing, a dealer has uploaded a video of Forty-Two with all the accessories onboard. The prices of these accessories have not been revealed yet.
In this video, you can see it gets a Saree guard, engine guard and a pillion backrest. A luggage carrier is also fitted behind the backrest. A center stand is also provided as an accessory and not as standard fitment.
Interestingly, we knew that Jawa Forty-Two got handlebar-end rear view mirrors at the time of the launch. However, it is also offered as an accessory and not as standard.
Along with these accessories, Jawa Motorcycles also sells T-Shirts, saddlebags, coffee mugs, books and jackets. The merchandise list is quite long, just like what is offered with Royal Enfield.
Meanwhile, the deliveries of Jawa bikes have commenced across the country. The first batch is only out till know, while the second batch would be delivered very soon.
6 months after the launch and still the waiting period of the bikes is up to 9 months. However, the period depends for different cities, with the least waiting period of 5 months.
For the month of March 2019, only 54 units were sold. While the booking figures are a lot more than our expectations, these include the first batch and some dealership units as well.
Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two use the same 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The motor is tuned to deliver 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. It comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Recently, Classic Legends revealed the ARAI-claimed fuel economy of the bikes. The mileage of Jawa and Jawa Forty Two stands at 37.5 kmpl, which would come down to nearly 32 kmpl in real world conditions.
