A digital automobile artist has devised a Renegade Edition of the Jeep Compass. Compass is one of the most premium SUVs in its segment. It offers great driving dynamics in addition to an exciting and high-quality interior. However, it has not been selling as well as the American auto giant would’ve wanted. Nonetheless, there are some ardent loyalists of the brand and the SUV. There were also reports of Jeep launching the smaller Renegade model in India. However, nothing has been announced yet. Until then, we can glance through this riveting digital rendition.

Jeep Compass Renegade Edition
This illustration comes from Bimble Designs on YouTube. The digital artist is a notable player in this category. This design house has come up with numerous digital iterations of popular vehicles. This Compass features substantial modifications to the exterior. To begin with, there are LED headlamps with LED DRLs wrapped around them, an LED strip of light on the grille, an auxiliary LED light setup on the roof, a redesigned front bumper with a prominent splitter to protect the underbelly, LED DRLs on the fog lamp housing and a substantial hood scoop.

Moving down the sides, one can see the wide body concept with extended wheel arches with black cladding, colossal black alloy wheels with wide tyres, black side pillars, black roof, roof rails, a broad side body skirting and Compass Renegade badging on the front door. At the rear, one gets to witness a unique layout with a split-LED taillamp setup and additional light strips on the D-pillar and roof-mounted spoiler. Moreover, there is a sporty and aerodynamic bumper with a diffuser, just like on a sportscar. All in all, this has to be the sportiest iteration of the Compass.

The Jeep Compass is equipped with a sole 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 168 hp and 350 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine provides the flexibility of a either 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. Notably, the 4×4 drivetrain is exclusively available for the higher variants, allowing the SUV to handle off-road terrain with ease. The price range for the Jeep Compass spans from Rs 20.49 lakh to Rs 32.07 lakh, ex-showroom.
