The Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD has been priced at Rs. 3.22 crores in India, joining the Huracan family with Evo AWD and Evo Spyder in India

Lamborghini just launched the Huracan Evo RWD (rear-wheel drive) in India a couple of days ago for a price of Rs. 3.22 crores (ex-showroom, pan India). The Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD joins Huracan family in India with the standard all-wheel drive Huracan Evo and the Evo Spyder, which are priced at Rs 3.73 crore and Rs 4.1 crore, respectively.

Under the hood, this ranging bull is powered by a glorious 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that has been powering the Huracan range since its inception. In the Evo RWD, the engine is tuned to produce 610hp at 8,000rpm and 550Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This means that the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD produces 40 more horsepower than the last-gen Huracan RWD but 30 bhp less than the all-wheel-drive (AWD) Evo. Lamborghini claims a top speed of 325kph for the RWD and a 0-100kph sprint time of 3.3sec.

There are also certain visual differences that tell the Evo RWD from the all-wheel drive Evo. That includes a new front splitter and air intake, along with a reworked rear diffuser. The rest of the car otherwise remains unchanged. Feature-wise, the Evo RWD gets an 8.4-inch touchscreen in the centre console with Apple CarPlay compatibility, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and 19-inch alloys shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The Huracan Evo RWD also weighs about 30 kgs lesser than the all-wheel drive Evo as it loses the heavier all-wheel drive setup. It also gets a specially tuned version of the Lamborghini Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) that features the Strada, Sport and Corsa drive modes. Lamborghiniโ€™s Dynamic Steering system is also said to be specifically tuned for the Evo RWD, to increase driver feedback. Lamborghini claims a top speed of 325kph for the RWD and a 0-100kph sprint time of 3.3sec.

As is true with all Lamborghinis and most cars in this price range, Lamborghini is offering plenty of customization options with a long list of optional extras. That really allows every car to be individual and specific for the customer. In terms of rivals, the Evo RWD competes with other two-wheel-drive supercars like the upcoming Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Aston Martin Vantage and the Mercedes-AMG GT R.
