Lexus has come up with a Smart Ownership Plan with the target of redefining luxury car ownership with loads of benefits and attractions. Lexus sells some of the most opulent vehicles in our country. In all honesty, it is still a relatively niche brand in comparison to the other players in this space. Still, its products have made it to the garages of some of the biggest names in Bollywood and Cricket in India. As it expands its footprint, a tailored ownership program will go a long way. Lexus India Introduces Smart Ownership Plan
Lexus India has launched the Smart Ownership Plan, a new program aimed at making luxury car ownership more flexible and affordable. The plan is designed for customers who want to experience Lexus vehicles without long-term financial commitments. Under this initiative, Lexus offers easy EMI options, along with an Assured Buyback feature. At the end of the plan term, customers can choose to return the car without further obligations, retain it by paying a pre-agreed Guaranteed Future Value (GFV), or upgrade to a newer Lexus model.
The GFV, communicated at the start, ensures a clear resale value and removes uncertainties linked to depreciation or resale negotiations. The program is currently available on Lexus ES, NX, and RX models. One of the key highlights of the plan is the option for frequent upgrades, allowing buyers to own a new Lexus every three to five years. This ensures access to the latest advancements in technology, design, and safety. Since its entry into India in 2017, Lexus has followed the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, which focuses on respect and guest care.
Continuing this approach, the company has also introduced an 8-year/1,60,000 km warranty on all Lexus cars sold in India from June 1, 2024, becoming the first luxury carmaker in the country to do so. In addition, Lexus offers the Lexus Luxury Care service package with multiple options for 3, 5, or 8 years, covering up to 1,60,000 km. This package provides customers with a range of service benefits, further supporting long-term ownership needs.
