The Indian automobile giant continues to expand its footprint in the country as the demand reaches an all-time high
The largest Mahindra dealership in South India is now open in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It will operate as a part of Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL), which is one of India’s largest automobile retail conglomerates. In the last couple of years, Mahindra has been doing exceptionally well on the monthly sales charts. It has constantly been clipping on the heels of Hyundai to capture that second spot on the list of the largest carmakers in the country. For now, let us glance at the details of this new dealership.
Largest Mahindra Dealership in South India
This new facility is developed with an investment of Rs 15 Crore. Moreover, it becomes the 5th outlet in Krishna district. The event was attended by top Mahindra officials, including Mr. Pavan Kumar, VP of Sales and Customer Care, and Mr. Baneswar Bannerjee, National Sales Head. The dealership is on Eluru Road in Enikepadu and covers a large area of 1.03 lakh square feet. It offers sales, service, and spare parts under one roof. The showroom can display 14 vehicles at a time, including Mahindra’s passenger cars, electric vehicles, small commercial vehicles, and last-mile mobility options.
The dealership is built to offer a smooth and complete experience for customers, from buying a vehicle to servicing it later. It also includes a fast-charging station for electric vehicles. The facility houses 61 service bays, able to serve about 28,000 customers each year. Inside the showroom, visitors can see Mahindra’s latest technology, like the INGLO EV platform and MAIA, its advanced vehicle intelligence system. With this new launch, AMPL now runs 135 Mahindra outlets across six states – Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. In the last financial year, AMPL sold over 37,000 Mahindra vehicles – roughly one every 13 minutes. This makes AMPL the top partner for Mahindra in both sales and service across India.
