First known example of Mahindra Scorpio N with illegal 20-inch wheels.

With the commencement of bookings of Mahindra Scorpio N on September 26, it was only a matter of time before we saw modified examples

Launched earlier this year, deliveries of the Mahindra Scorpio N began on September 26th. By now, already, many buyers of the top-spec Z8L variant have got their SUVs. Hence, it’s only natural to find at least some of them heading the aftermarket route to customise their prized possessions. The images we have here are of an SUV of one such buyer who slapped on a set of 20-inch alloy wheels on his brand-spanking-new SUV. In fact, the is the first known example of a Mahindra Scorpio N shod with aftermarket 20-inch alloy wheels.

Mahindra Scorpio N with ‘Illegal’ Alloy Wheels

The images you see here are of the first known Mahindra Scorpio N to have received a set of 20-inch aftermarket alloy wheels. Shared by Velocity Wheels on a social media platform, these pictures show a black-painted Scorpio N shod with bigger-than-stock 20-inch alloys with a multi-spoke design. It must be noted here that the Scorpio N is available with 17-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels options, with the latter reserved for the top-spec trim. Hence, the owner of the SUV shown above has gone for at least a 2-inch upgrade in the wheel size. This has clearly led to a significant improvement in the stance of the SUV, especially when you see it in the side profile.

Also, while the cost of this upgrade is not available at the moment, it’s clear that the owner has even went in for a significant upgrade in the tyre profile. In fact, it’s clear that the new 20-inch tires are a tad too wide for the SUV. This has lead to the wheels protruding out of the vehicle body. This is clearly something that is illegal. However, it surely gives the SUV a wider track and overall, a meaner appearance. Also, the tires seem to be of a lower profile. This is something that could have resulted into a harsher ride. However, given the craze for the Scorpio, it’s only natural for buyers to opt for these upgrades. Hence, we’re sure we’ll come across many more such examples in the days to come.
