The South African version of the Mahindra Scorpio and Thar are used to teach off-roading by the experts. This video takes us through the journey of this event organised to test the capabilities of the Mahindra products. The off-road-oriented pickup trucks are called Bakkies in South Africa and Mahindra Scorpio Pik Up is one of the popular offerings in this category. South African Scorpio Used For Off-Roading

The YouTuber seems excited about going on the off-roading adventure which he has previously attended with the Ford Ranger. The expert trainer is seen giving instructions to the participants to ensure their personal safety, as well as the safety of the vehicles. In the subsequent part of the video, the Mahindra Scorpio Pik Up is captured performing some incredible feats on challenging terrains. The track has specifically been carved out to test various aspects of off-roading.

There are uphill and downhill slopes, large potholes to test the stability and wheel articulation, ground clearance tests, crawling abilities, and much more. The narrator was particularly impressed by the barebones Thar. This Thar is the last-gen model that we had in our market before the current version. Since it is barebones and the interior and features are quite basic, the lightweight and 4×4 capabilities allow it to move past any and every obstacle.
