There is a significant difference in the prices of various trims of both these electric SUVs
The Pack 2 avatars of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE6 have finally been detailed in these videos. The latest breed of electric SUVs from the Indian automobile giant is sold under two new sub-brands – XEV and BE. Based on the INGLO platforms, the new-age Mahindra EVs are designed for the world. Hence, we see it putting its best foot forward in terms of styling, performance, tech, safety and convenience. For now, let us check out the details of the Pack 2 iterations of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE6.
Mahindra XEV 9e Pack 2
Firstly, let us commence with the Mahindra XEV 9e Pack 2. It is up to Rs 4 lakh cheaper than the Pack 3. Nevertheless, it covers all the basics quite well in terms of equipment. Hence, many people might consider it to be the ideal value for money model. Some of its top highlights are:
- Level 2 ADAS – In the Pack 3, you get Level 2+ ADAS amenities, whereas the Pack 2 offers Level 2 ADAS features. Still, there are many functionalities to boost the active safety. The missing features are a 360-degree camera and parking assist.
- Premium Interior – While the Pack 3 gets the Ivory Leatherette interior, the Pack 2 comes with part-fabric and part-leatherette upholstery in a lighter shade.
- 6 Airbags – It is quite impressive that the Pack 2 still offers high levels of passive safety, too, with 6 airbags. Note that the Pack 3 will get you an additional airbag.
- Features – The EV continues to come with all the bells and whistles to pamper the occupants. This includes things like powered front seats with memory function, large glass sunroof, touchscreen infotainment, digital instrument cluster and much more.
Mahindra BE6 Pack 2
Next up, the Mahindra BE6 Pack 2 is up to Rs 3.5 lakh more affordable than the Pack 3. Despite that, it offers compelling amenities to keep the potential buyers interested. Just like the XEV 9e Pack 2, the BE6 Pack 2 offers 6 airbags, a large glass roof, steel wheels with aero-style wheel covers, tons of in-cabin features and more. The only things missing in comparison to the Pack 3 model are a 360-degree camera, auto park assist, LED lighting, and a 7th airbag. Apart from that, all the other attractions are similar to the Pack 3, which makes it quite intriguing and a great value for money.
We know that the second-from-top trims are generally the most value for money in the lineup of any car model. They offer great functionalities at a competitive price point. In fact, that is mostly the highest-selling version of any car. The Pack 2 does the exact same job in the portfolio of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE6. Let us see how well the customers respond to it.
