Maruti Alto Crosses Broken Bridge On People's Shoulders [Video]

In a strange sight, a group of men held up a wooden board to allow a Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 to cross a broken bridge.

India has been hit by heavy rainfalls this year in certain regions. Climate change has caused heavy damage to the infrastructure of several Indian states. However, Indian citizens are pushing through the tough circumstances and helping each other. A new video shows a group of men literally allowing a Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 to pass over their shoulders. The hear-warming took place in Himachal Pradesh. It is now going viral all over the internet for highlighting the generous nature of the Indian people.

Maruti Alto Passes Over Makeshift Bridge

As you can see in the video above, a small hill-side road is significantly broken and the space is not wide enough for a car to pass. To solve this problem, a group of men created a makeshift bridge with a wooden board and sticks. It was held up on their shoulders till the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 managed to cross the patch. A few other men also stood on either side and directed the driver to safely cross the makeshift bridge. Fortunately, they managed to safely pass after some hesitance initially.

Refrain from Such Practices

While the selfless effort by locals is commendable, it is to be noted that such a stunt is not safe under normal circumstances. Such a solution can often fail with a small mistake. In a recent video, a Toyota Innova in Maharashtra fell into a high-speed river from a bridge. This happened despite locals trying to rescue the car with a rope tied to a truck. The grey-coloured Toyota Innova was stuck on one end of a bridge for a while. Fortunately, the vehicle was not carrying anyone when it fell. Still, though, we urge all our readers to exercise extreme caution under such circumstances. One should resort to such practices only if it is extremely urgent to reach the destination. It needs to be understood that such antics puts well-being of all the involved parties at risk.
