Mercedes ML Class rear ends Tata Safari

Tata Motors has introduced a ton of products in our market with high safety ratings making people aware of the importance of the NCAP ratings.

In this video, a Mercedes ML-Class SUV is after it hit a Tata Safari. The German carmaker is an established luxury car marque known for making products with high safety ratings since time immemorial. On the other hand, the Tata Safari and Harrier are the only two SUVs in Tata’s portfolio that have not yet been crash tested by the GNCAP. Here is what happens when these two SUVs ‘meet’.

Mercedes ML-Class Rear Ends Tata Safari

The video has been posted by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. He posts such content in order to raise awareness among Indian car buyers regarding the importance of the safety ratings of cars before buying them. As per the information in the video, this incident has been observed in Tamil Nadu. The owner of Tata Safari shared the information about it. He mentions that he suddenly noticed a few cars making U-turns on the highway because of which he had to apply brakes suddenly.

However, the driver of the Mercedes ML-Class SUV travelling behind the Safari was not able to react quickly enough. Resultantly, the Mercedes hit the rear section of the Safari. The Safari owner mentions that he and the passengers didn’t feel much impact as the Merc hit them. The damage on the Safari also suggests that the body absorbed most of the impact and protected the occupants. However, the spare wheel came out of its position and ended up on the other side of the road.

Minimal Damage to Mercedes ML-Class

The damage on the Merc was also quite minimal. It had a bent bonnet and bumper. This is a testament to the build quality of both these SUVs. We can advise our readers to always follow traffic rules and prevent overspeeding at all costs. The latter continues to be the most common reason for road accidents. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and follow all traffic regulations to make our roads safer.
