Most Expensive Car India Bentley Mulsanne EWB Left

We often hear about the most expensive car in India and think that it would belong to the richest man in the country. But that might not be necessarily true. Also, we must note that we are talking about the most expensive car and not the most expensive car collection. Because in the case of the latter, we are pretty sure that the Ambanis would be at the top of the list. Nevertheless, there are some billionaires in the country who own some special edition models of already exotic vehicles. Here is one such case.

The Most Expensive Car in India

This post comes from carenthusiastindian on Instagram. While we can’t confirm or deny the veracity of this claim, it says that the most expensive car in India belongs to VS Reddy. He is the founder and Managing Director of British Biologicals. He is the winner of an unbelievable 52 National and International Awards. His firm is the first Indian company to manufacture scientifically proven nutrition supplements, ethically marketed through the medical fraternity. As per this latest post, he owns the Bentley Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition. It costs a whopping Rs 14 Crore. As per some reports, there were only 100 units of this special edition model worldwide, certainly making it one of the rarest vehicles on the planet.

Specs

Bentley makes some of the most luxurious automobiles on the planet, even in their regular versions. Under the hood of this opulent vehicle sits a massive 6.75-litre V8 engine that generates a colossal 506 hp and 1,020 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing the transmission duties is an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. This propels the luxury sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 secs. The top speed is a spine-chilling 296 km/h. The EWB edition ensures acres of space for the passengers in the rear seat.

What We Think

Now, we must agree that we are not sure about how true this fact is. In fact, glancing through the comment section of this post reveals that most people are aware of the fact that this can’t be the most expensive car in the country. Some comments mention that Ambani’s Rolls Royce Phantom Vlll EWB model costs well over Rs 16 Crore. Apart from that, his Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard (bulletproof) might also bear a price tag around that. Not to mention, the overall convoy of Mukesh Ambani already has cars worth around Rs 100 Crore. Hence, we must take this fact with a pinch of salt.
