The French auto giant recently launched the facelift iteration of the popular compact SUV in India
In this post, we take a look at the details of the acceleration test of the new Renault Kiger facelift. Kiger is among the most budget-friendly cars in its class. This has been its biggest appeal since it entered the Indian market in 2021. Even with tough rivals, the compact SUV has managed to record steady sales. In fact, Renault also ships the Kiger from India to several global markets. A major update, however, was due for quite some time. Now that it is finally here, let us check out how fast it can move.
New Renault Kiger Facelift Acceleration Test
As a part of the media interaction, I got the opportunity to put the new Kiger through its paces. To sequester every ounce of power from this peppy SUV, I put it in Sport Mode, to begin with. Then I pressed the accelerator hard on an empty stretch of road. I was able to clock 60 km/h in 5.26 seconds, 80 km/h in 8.22 seconds and 100 km/h in just 12.17 seconds. These are pretty decent numbers for a vehicle in this category. I don’t believe buyers will find any shortage of power.
