New Skoda Octavia vRS Spied Sans Camo Ahead of Launch

The performance sedan will be the most powerful version ever this time around

The new Skoda Octavia vRS was recently spied in all its glory. It holds a unique appeal and appreciation in the Indian automobile market. The Czech carmaker allocates a specific number of units for our market. Generally, the sedan flies off the shelf within no time. Driving aficionados love to possess this fire-breathing monster. Also, its exclusivity is a huge attraction for a whole bunch of potential customers. The new-gen avatar of the Octavia vRS has already been launched in many international markets. Note that the performance sedan was showcased a few months ago at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. In terms of the exterior appearance, it carries on the trademark sharp cut creases on the body panels, contoured bonnet, sleek LED headlamps and a massive bumper at the front. On the sides, we get to experience the colossal alloy wheels. At the rear, the sedan boasts LED taillamps, Skoda lettering on the boot compartment and an integrated boot spoiler. On the inside, there are the latest amenities like a free-standing touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel with controls, an electronic parking brake, red ambient lighting, red stitching on the black upholstery, metal pedals, soft-touch materials on the door panels and dashboard and much more.

Specs

The new Skoda Octavia vRS possesses a powerful 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol mill, which will generate a whopping 265 hp and 370 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing transmission duties is a 7-speed DSG transmission, which allows a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 6.4 seconds. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in just 5.95 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. This proves that the sporty sedan will offer engaging driving dynamics.

The standard sports suspension is lowered by 15 millimetres and, together with the progressive steering and electronically controlled VAQ limited-slip differential, ensures excellent traction and driving dynamics in any situation. The RS-specific adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) can be installed as an option. Also, the braking performance is ensured by ventilated disc brakes measuring 340 x 30 mm at the front and 310 x 22 mm at the rear.
