This video comes from Charlie Vlogs on YouTube. He is a proud owner of the new Harrier. In general, he loves the SUV a lot. However, he mentions a few issues with the SUV too. For instance, the tyres of his SUV were swollen for some reason. As a result, he had to change all four tyres. Apart from that, he is facing problems with the electronics of the car. In fact, he shows that the instrument cluster is not displaying information properly. It doesn’t show which gear the SUV is in or the speed of the car. Additionally, the infotainment system refuses to display climate control information like fan speed and AC temperature.

Finally, the owners of the Harrier are still having to wait for Apple CarPlay. These are some basic issues that can frustrate a lot of people. In fact, the owner also says that he got the traction control error a few days ago. However, it went away on its own. When he visited the dealership for servicing and reporting these complaints, the staff performed a system update. However, the issues still persisted. That sends a wrong message to the owners. Apparently, even the service staff are unable to diagnose the exact problem, it seems. They just rely on some software updates. But the glitches keep on continuing.

Author’s Note

We must understand that there could be problems with any car. Hence, even the vlogger mentions that he is not bashing the car. In fact, he loves it. But it is equally important to mention the issues so that people can learn from them. Also, the carmakers need such feedback to improve their products. Therefore, videos like these help get the word out so that other potential buyers have a clear picture of what could go wrong and what the best aspects of the car are. For instance, the vlogger mentions that the aesthetics and cabin feel of the Harrier are second to none. Also, the driving dynamics are great. You must make a choice keeping all these things in mind.
