An impressive case has emerged where an old Toyota Innova has been converted to a new one along with the installation of Alphard Kit. Aftermarket car modification has become extremely popular in India, particularly in the last few years. The car shops get access to spare parts, automobile components and body kits from all across the globe. Hence, they are able to convert any vehicle into just about any other car. This is the latest example of one such case. Let us glance at the details of this case.
Old Toyota Innova Converted to New One
This post comes from Autorounders on YouTube. The host showcases the old Toyota Innova of the customer. After detailed deliberation, the owner decided to colour the Innova in Nardo Grey paint. On top of that, they wanted to install the Alphard Kit on it. I have reported multiple occasions where Innova owners have gone for the Alphard kit to enhance the exterior appearance significantly. It includes a new bumper, colossal vertical grille with chrome finish, new projector headlamps, side fenders, rear skirtings, a new signature LED taillamp connected by a chrome strip, chrome belt on the bumper, chrome dual fake exhausts and more.
Furthermore, this Innova Crysta even gets upsized 16-inch alloy wheels with new tyres. These are painted in black colour which compliments the Nardo Grey colour really well. Moving to the inside reveals a sporty cabin. The upholstery is finished in a wine-red colour. Additionally, there is a wooden slab on the dashboard which infuses a sense of luxury. The car modifiers have also installed an Android touchscreen infotainment display and ambient lighting. Even the roof has been customized with black colour. The other components have been carried forward from the original version.
Our View
The first thing I must mention here is the legalities involved if you change the colour of your car. Even the car shop host asks the owner to do the proper formalities at the RTO so that a new RC can be issued which would mention the new Nardo Grey colour. Apart from that, I don’t think that most exterior car modifications are allowed as per our laws. Hence, I would recommend you visit your local RTO and get exact information about each and every component. That will save you a lot of complications with the traffic police later on.
