You might have seen quite a few custom modifications of the Royal Enfield motorcycles, but this one is bound to steal your heart.

This Canada-bound Royal Enfield Riverlander is a custom motorcycle designed to pay tribute to the rich culture and heritage of Punjab. The owner of this bike lives in Canada and came to India to study. Now, that he will be going back to Canada, he wants to take a piece of the glorious culture and history of Punjab. In a bid to achieve it, he has entrusted Rebel Custom Motorcycles which is a prominent player in this space. Custom RE Riverlander Representing Punjab

There are so many tales engraved in this bike that the designer takes us through. First of all, the overall shape of the bike represents a Bobber style and Cafe Racer style depending on where you look at it from. The massive fuel tank is finished in meaningful engravings and a painting of a Sikh warrior depicts the Bobber traits. On the other hand, the low handles, round headlamps, single-seat, chunky tyres and extended chassis are the characteristics of a Cafe Racer. The tyres are scarcely covered by little tyre covers and the free-flowing exhaust tailpipe is an element commonly seen on Harley Davidson bikes. The exhaust note is noticeably throaty.

The depictions on the bike using various metals, engravings and paint themes are simply exquisite ad detailed. The designer confirms that it takes almost 6 months to get such customisations. This is primarily due to the constant input required from the customers to get exactly what they are looking for. The engravings on the side panels include the map of undivided Punjab before the partition, a symbol of a Canadian institution, the Red Fort of Delhi that used to have the Khalsa flag atop it, Riverlander moniker representing the land of five rivers (Punjab), golden graving on the fuel tank showing a Hawk and the Khandasa.

This insane and impressive custom modification on this Royal Enfield (RE) representing the culture and heritage of Punjab was completed in Rs 1.60 lakh. The designer mentions that if anyone doesn’t want the detailed engravings, the cost would be reduced by around Rs 30,000-40,000. This effectively means that to convert an RE into a Bobber or Cafe Racer would cost somewhere around Rs 1.25 lakh.
