India’s most iconic bike manufacturer, Royal Enfield launched two new limited edition versions of the Classic range of motorcycles and introduced a brand new range of biking gear at their newly opened flagship store in Khan Market, Delhi. The new limited edition motorcycles are a tribute to Despatch Riders of the World War I and World War II era and get detailing inspired by the Enfield motorcycles used during that time. The store will be open to general public 29th May onwards while the bookings for the Royal Enfield limited edition motorcycles will start on 15th July after the launch. Limited Edition Dispatch Motorcycles
Royal Enfiled showcased limited edition motorcycles which are a tribute to the despatch riders of the World War era. Based on the Classic 500, the limited edition bikes get styling details inspired by World War era Enfields and three new camouflage paint shades out of which only two will be available in India; Desert Storm and Squadron Blue. Each paint shade is limited to a production run of just 200 and the number will be mentioned on each individual bike. The camouflage pattern will be unique to every single motorcycle thanks to new paint technique being employed by the manufacturer. Other styling details include a new shade leather upholstery for the seat, matching leather strap for the air filter and matte black finish for the engine and the silencer. Price and other details regarding the limited edition Royal Enfield motorcycles will be revealed at the time of launch on 15th July with bookings commencing shortly afterward. Estimated price for the two paint shades will be marginally higher than that of the stock Royal Enfield Classic 500.

The major purpose of the Royal Enfield flagship store in Delhi is to sell company merchandise and biking gear. The store is packed with an impressive range of biking gear right from all-weather jackets, riding gloves, helmets, shoes, trousers, t-shirts and more. The company has put in quite a bit of effort in designing this range of biking gear keeping in mind the needs and requirements of bikers and have also taken inspiration from the world war era. For instance, the trouser pockets have been positioned and designed such that they are accessible to the user while on a motorcycle. The practical, durable jackets also get secret slots for storing ammunition!

The biking gear will be available across Royal Enfield stores in India and will be made available at every RE dealership in the country by the end of this year. The merchandise will be made available online as well as in international markets.
