If this price continues, it definitely would be positioned as an entry-level fully faired sportsbike, and not just a faired bike. The spy shots reveal that it uses clip-on handlebars.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will further go against the likes of Honda CBR250R and KTM RC200. Earlier, we speculated it to go against R15 V3 and Fazer 25, which now, seems not.

The new Gixxer uses an all-new 249cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. It is tuned to deliver 26.5 BHP and 22 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

For suspension, it seems to use telescopic forks at the front a monoshock at the back. Disc brakes at both the ends with standard dual-channel ABS will be offered too.

The design of the new Gixxer is taken from the bigger GSX-R bikes. That’s why you can see sharp creases over its entire body, racy split seats and an aggressive riding position.

We can expect it to get features such as LED headlamps, a new digital instrument console, LED tail lamps and fuel injection. Reports also suggest that it could get a BS-6 ready engine.
