We are not sure if the performance boost is needed, but more driving range is anyday welcome. Tata Nexon EV, in its real world driving conditions offers nearly 230-240 kms worth of driving. That can be reduced or increased, based on your driving as well. Currently, there are three electric SUVs in India, amongst which Nexon is the cheapest and offers the lowest range.

Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh electric motor with an IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack. The motor is able to produce 129 PS and up to 245 Nm of peak torque, with a single-speed transmission. The torque remains different for both the Drive and Sport driving modes, the latter getting a 60% boost of up to 245 Nm.
