The Indian automobile giant is in the process of achieving new heights when it comes to monthly sales
In this post, we come across a Tata Punch hanging from a forklift at a workshop. Punch is among the most popular vehicles from the Indian auto giant. In fact, its upright stance and SUV-ish traits have attracted tons of new-age buyers. Additionally, it comes with the latest tech and convenience amenities, top-notch safety prowess and multiple powertrain options. That has resulted in it becoming one of the most successful vehicles in our market. For now, let us delve into the details of this case.
Tata Punch Seen Hanging from Forklift
This post stems from drivenreview on Instagram. The visuals capture a rather shocking incident. It looks like the Tata Punch arrived at the dealership workshop for servicing. However, the video showcases the micro SUV hanging on the forklift from the front, while the tail end is almost touching the ground. Clearly, this is a consequence of either malfunctioning machinery or careless staff. In any case, it appears like there is some damage to the vehicle. I can only hope that no individual was injured in this mishap.
Now, while most people must be enticed to jump to a conclusion, we must refrain ourselves from doing so. There are numerous instances of such activities on social media. Oftentimes, the entire details are not clear. That is why we must always wait for the official investigation to know the full story. I shall update this post once more details emerge.

Having tracked the Indian car market closely for over a decade, I can say Tata Motors has done an exceptional job with products like the Punch, winning buyers on safety, design and value. However, incidents like this underline a persistent weak link, after-sales execution at the ground level. In a market where volumes are surging and first-time buyers dominate, consistent workshop standards are as critical as five-star safety ratings. Tata must ensure its rapid growth is matched by equally robust dealer training and accountability.
