Based on customer feedback, Tata is going to update the Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP with some new features. Also, both cars will get special accessories too.
Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP are basically performance-oriented versions of the regular models. Both get a much more powerful engine, that produces more power than the Tata Nexon.
Despite being top-of-the-line trim in the lineup, the Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP miss out on some features that came in the recently launched facelifts of Tiago and Tigor. Based on customer feedback, the manufacturer is going to add those features soon.
Forum discussion on Team-BHP says that it will soon get tinted windows, a cooled glovebox and a rear windscreen. Both the models will now get the larger 7-inch touchscreen infotainment that came on the recently facelifted models.

Currently, the Tata Tiago JTP features a 5-inch system that does not support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well. The new system gets both the connectivity options. Lastly, Auto Climate Control and Electric boot Release will also make their way on the updated version.
Tiago and Tigor JTP get a 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder Revotron turbo-petrol engine, that produces 114 BHP and 150 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The gear ratios have also been revised for better acceleration.
The suspension also gets stiffer, a typical trait of a performance car. The Tiago JTP is priced at Rs 6.39 Lakhs and the Tigor goes for Rs 7.49 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Tiago JTP is the most affordable hot-hatch in India.

Reports suggest that the same engine with even better power figures might come on the Nexon. So, the JTP version of Nexon is also in planning, as it has already been spied once.
Tigor JTP has no competition in India as of now, but Tiago JTP locks horns with Maruti Baleno RS and Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, both priced near Rs 10 Lakhs. The new 1.0 Litre turbo petrol engine on the Venue is likely to come on next-gen i20 Elite, adding another hot-hatch in India under Rs 10 Lakhs.
