The rise in input costs has forced many car manufacturers to increase the price of their vehicles. Now, the Toyota Fortuner, Crysta, and Glanza are about to get costlier

Toyota is one of the most popular car brands all over the world. Currently, the highlights of the company include the Glanza, Urban Cruiser, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Hilux, Camry, and Vellfire. It has also received a great response to the Hilux pick-up. Now, Toyota’s portfolio is all set to get costlier. There has been a rise in the cost of raw materials lately. This has led to a rise is price by multiple manufacturers. Now, Toyota has also announced a price hike.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that it will hike the prices of all its models from April 1, 2022. This means that the Toyota Fortuner, Crysta, and Glanza will cost you 4 percent more from next month. The company has attributed the new price hike to the rising input cost of raw materials. It also stated that it is making conscious efforts to minimize the impact of rising costs on consumers. Last week, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz India, and BMW India announced a price hike in the country.

Currently, the Toyota Fortuner costs Rs 31.39 lakh – Rs 43.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The full-size SUV is powered by a 2.7-liter petrol unit/2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The price of the Toyota Innova Crysta ranges from Rs 17.3 lakh to Rs 25.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The popular MPV is powered by a 2.7-liter petrol/2.4-liter diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission/ an optional 6-speed torque converter. On the other hand, the Toyota Glanza costs Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). It is powered by a 1.2-liter DualJet engine with a 5-speed MT and an optional 5-speed AMT.
