Reports suggest that TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V and RR310 might be available with Bluetooth connectivity as standard fitment.

TVS just launched the updated RR310, which now gets a race-tuned slipper clutch and a new ‘Phantom Black’ colour option. From the launch, major news has been reported.

Bikewale reports that TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will soon get a Bluetooth enabled instrument console. After this model, it will further come on the RTR 200 4V and then on the RR310.

Report suggests that the instrument clusters on these bikes will be the same, with some added information. The console will show different fonts and font sizes and the placement of the meters will also be changed.

Further, we expect the same technology from TVS Ntorq to be available on the Apache RTR 160 and others. The SmartXonnect technology gets features such as Navigation Assist, Call Notification, Last Parked Location, Ride Stats, Message Alert and much more.

The console of Ntorq has 55 features equipped in it. The same will come on Apache series and the speedometer will be connected by SmartXonnect app on your Android Phone and not iPhone.

With this, the prices are set to increase further. However, reports suggest that the update might be launched with BS-6 engines when the prices will already be increased.

There are rumours suggesting that the next-gen Jupiter might also get the same Bluetooth enabled console. There are no spottings of the new Jupiter as of now, but we can expected it with a BS-6 engine next year.

The 2020 TVS Jupiter will further get a completely revised styling and new features such as LED headlamps. Jupiter getting a Bluetooth-console is still in rumours, but it can be expected on the top-end variant.

Similarly, Yamaha is also planning the introduce Bluetooth instrument console for its motorcycle, starting from R15 V3.
