TVS Motor Company, the popular South India-based motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the TVS Raider, its latest 125cc motorcycle, in Bangladesh. The stylish motorcycle has been priced at 144,900 Bangladesh Taka, which is equivalent of Rs 128,779 at current exchange rates. At this price, the new offering for the Bangladesh bike market has turned out to be almost Rs 47,000 costlier than what it costs back in India. However, the manufacturer is confident that the various segment-best features such as the LCD digital speedometer, 3V i-Touch Start, animalistic LED headlamp and first-in-segment under-seat storage will attract the aspirational young customers.

Specifications
Powering the Raider is a 124.8 cc air & oil-cooled 3V engine that outputs a maximum power of 12.9 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 11.5 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The motorcycle offers best-in-class acceleration as it can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.7 secs. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. The new 125cc bike for the Bangladeshi market comes with conventional telescopic forks up front and gas-charged 5-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. It rides on stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. It the manufacturer is to be believed, the TVS Raider offers ergonomics that focus on offering a high level of comfort and convenience to the rider. TVS Raider will be sold in 4 colour options in our neighbouring country – Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.
