TVS Victor launched with Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT)

TVS Victor has been updated with Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT) for the upcoming safety regulations. It is priced at Rs 54,682 (ex-showroom).

TVS has launched the Victor commuter motorcycle in India with Synchronized Braking System (SBT), which is another name for the Combined Braking System. The safety norms have already commenced in India from April 1.

It is now priced starting from Rs 54, 682 going up to Rs 57,662 (ex-showroom Delhi). The prices have been hiked by just Rs 640, from Rs 54,042. The non-CBS variants are no longer available in the market.

With this, TVS has updated its entire two-wheeler lineup with ABS and CBS. Unlike TVS, a lot of two-wheeler manufacturers have discontinued several models because of lower demand.

TVS Victor gets a 109.7cc air-cooled engine that is capable of producing 9.6 BHP and 9.4 Nm of peak torque, with the engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The top speed achievable on this bike is nearly 85 km/hr.

The fuel tank capacity of the bike is total 10 litres. With an estimated fuel economy of 70 kmpl, the bike should deliver a riding range of nearly 700 kms. The said mileage was recently achieved on Radeon.

For suspension purposes it uses, telescopic forks at the front and a 5-step adjustable shock absorbers at the back.

For braking, TVS Victor gets a 130mm drum brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake at the back, with the option of a 240mm disc at the front. The optional disc brake makes it pricier than Radeon.

Features onboard include tubeless tires, a large seat, optional disc brake, pilot lamps, a digital-analogue speedometer and hazard lamps. The premium edition is additionally equipped with LED DRLs.

TVS Victor is available with colour options like Blissful Blue, Generous Grey, Black Silver, Serene Silver, Restful Red and Black Red.

Victor goes against the likes of Hero Passion XPro, Honda Livo, Bajaj Discover 110 and Yamaha Saluto.
