The review has been done by Auto Express on YouTube. It is a prominent and trusted car reviewing platform in the UK. The reviewer mentions that it is an affordable daily driver that can take you around the city quite comfortably. The highway sprints could be a bit underwhelming but most people don’t drive too fast anyway. Starting at just around ยฃ16,000, you get a modern exterior with LED DRLs, stylish alloy wheels and a tallboy stance in the Ignis.

On the inside, there is enough space for 4 passengers and the rear seats even slide and recline forward and backwards. Moreover, the boot space is a cool 267 litres which is more than what you get on some other compact hatchbacks and crossovers. Apart from that, you also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which is a modern touch that enhances the convenience a lot. Obviously, there are cheap plastics used inside the cabin but nothing that anyone can’t deal with.

Specs

Suzuki Ignis comes powered by a 1.2-litre K12D Dualjet petrol engine that makes a decent 83 hp and 107 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox allowing a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of around 12.7 secs and a top speed of 165 km/h. The WLTP combined fuel economy stands at a cool 5 l/100 km. Therefore, it is a car that is able to do almost everything decently well without burning a hole through your pocket.
