Apart from the helmet, the Indian EV giant unveiled a prominent product lineup at the EICMA 2025

The ongoing EICMA 2025 event in Milan, Italy, showcased a slew of innovative products from Ultraviolette, including the smart carbon-fibre UV Crossfade helmet. For the uninitiated, EICMA is the world’s premier motorcycle exhibition, where Ultraviolette also announced its partnership with Cardo Systems. The Indian EV manufacturer has been gaining significant prominence in Europe since commencing operations. It creates future-ready EV platforms along with Battery Technology to become a key player in the overall two-wheeler EV ecosystem. For now, let us take a look at the details of this case.

Ultraviolette Launches Smart Carbon-Fibre UV Crossfade Helmet

This smart helmet bears a price tag of Rs 19,900 and is available on the official Ultraviolette website. The collaboration with Cardo Systems marks the brand’s entry into the connected riding technology space called Connected Rider Ecosystem. The UV Crossfade gets a carbon fibre shell and integrated connectivity features. Furthermore, this helmet offers real-time communication between the rider and the machine. It will first connect with the F77 Mach 2, F77 SuperStreet and X-47 Crossover. The other models will get it in the coming time.

By combining Cardo’s industry-leading mesh network with Ultraviolette’s smart systems, riders can experience real-time group communication and direct motorcycle alerts. The new Dynamic Alert Sequencing (D.A.S) software further enhances safety by reading and prioritizing alerts, whether from the motorcycle, mesh network, or phone calls, ensuring the rider receives only the most critical information while on the move.

Weighing just around 1,380 grams, the UV Crossfade features a carbon fibre outer shell with fibreglass inner layers for superior strength and lightness. It meets DoT and ISI certifications, along with ECE 22.06 compliance for European markets, cementing its place as a new benchmark in motorcycle safety and innovation. With this reveal, Ultraviolette signals its ambition to redefine the future of connected motorcycling, not just in India but on the global stage.
