VinFast opens its largest Indian showroom in Chennai, showcasing VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. Part of 35-dealership expansion across 27 cities.
VinFast Auto India has opened its largest showroom in the country. The new facility is located in Teynampet, Chennai. This is the company’s first dealership in Tamil Nadu. The showroom spans 4,700 sq. ft. and is operated in partnership with Maansarovar Motors.
VinFast to Open 35 dealerships across India by 2025-end
VinFast said this outlet is part of its plan to strengthen its electric vehicle (EV) presence in India. The company plans to open 35 dealerships in over 27 cities by the end of 2025. This new facility will display VinFast’s electric SUV lineup, including the VF 6 and VF 7 models. It is designed to offer a full-brand experience and improve customer engagement.

Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 Bookings Underway
VinFast began accepting pre-bookings for its VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs on July 15, 2025. Customers can reserve a vehicle through its website or physical outlets with a fully refundable amount of ₹21,000. As part of its expansion plan in India, VinFast has entered into several partnerships. These include RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure for charging and after-sales support. It has also partnered with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling and develop a circular battery value chain.
VinFast is a subsidiary of Vietnam’s Vingroup JSC. The company manufactures electric vehicles, including SUVs, e-scooters, and e-buses. It is listed on NASDAQ under the ticker VFS. The Chennai showroom adds to VinFast’s growing global retail network. The company has identified India as a key growth market as it expands in Asia, North America, and Europe.
