The Vietnamese car marque has some huge plans for our market, including passenger electric vehicles, two-wheelers and buses
Updated on 26.01.2026 – The VinFast Limo Green has been tested heavily in India for weeks now. The Vietnamese car marque is planning to launch the 3-row electric MPV for our market. It will be aimed at family and commercial usage. The launch is slated for February 2026.VinFast is slowly expanding its footprint in India. With VF 6 and VF 7 already on sale, it wants to cater to a different customer base. Note that the electric MPV can also be used as a model for VinFast’s ride-hailing services, soon to be launched in India.
The visuals in the video capture someone driving close to the camouflaged EV on a busy road. He/she is able to capture the tail section of the test mule. We see a connected LED light bar with a roof-mounted spoiler at the rear. Its MPV silhouette is evidently visible. On the sides, we see striking alloy wheels, black side pillars and a clean look. Unfortunately, the front fascia is not visible in the video at all. In any case, more details will keep surfacing in the coming days.
Upcoming VinFast Limo Green Spied Testing, To Be Part of Ride-Hailing Service
Updated on 10.12.2025 – The soon-to-be-launched VinFast Limo Green has been spotted on the road in India. Various online reports suggest that the electric SUV will be launched in our market in February 2026. However, what is even more important to know is that the launch could coincide with the introduction of VinFast’s ride-hailing service in India, called GSM (Green and Smart Mobility). At present, the GSM is available in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Laos.
Unlike Ola, Uber and Rapido, GSM will benefit from the fact that it will incorporate its own EVs by VinFast in the fleet of cars and two-wheelers. As a part of this program, the Limo Green would join the ride-hailing service, as well as being available for purchase by individuals. Also, we might see the EV getting manufactured at VinFast’s production facility in Tamil Nadu. In the post by sawaimadhopurcityblog on Instagram, we see the EV parked at an urban location with its doors and tailgate open. Despite the heavy wrap, we believe that it is the upcoming electric SUV from the Vietnamese auto giant. The boot space looks quite massive, which would make it immensely practical for daily use. More details will emerge in the coming days.
VinFast Plans to Launch Limo Green Electric SUV for India
Originally published on 08.12.2025 – VinFast might be preparing to launch the Limo Green electric SUV in India by next year. VinFast has commenced its India operations with the VF6 and VF7. Apart from that, it is expanding its existing Tamil Nadu facility to manufacture electric buses and two-wheelers. Clearly, it has massive plans for our market. In fact, it won’t just be selling products domestically, but will establish India as the foundation for its export hub. As a consequence, India will receive significant investment from VinFast in the coming years.
VinFast Plans Limo Green for India
The electric SUV was spied performing road tests in India a few weeks ago. In fact, in our tour to VinFast’s facilities in Vietnam a few days ago, we experienced it in the flesh. At the front, it bears a sleek LED lighting setup and a closed-off fascia. The side section contains black side pillars, prominent wheel arches and a stylish dual-tone design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. I particularly like the side section, which resembles some premium vehicles. The tail end also contains a modern appearance with a shark fin antenna and shark LED taillamps.
Now, while the information regarding the interior and features is limited, we can expect it to be modern and tech-savvy. This could include elements like a driver’s instrument cluster, powered driver’s seat, premium sound system, large infotainment touchscreen, automatic climate control, ventilated all-disc brake setup, and much more. We shall get to know more about the in-cabin amenities as the launch nears.

Expected Specs
Again, the exact details about the specifications are not available for the India model. Still, we can witness what this EV comes with in the international market. It contains a 60.13 kWh battery pack, which powers the electric motor to generate a healthy 204 PS and 280 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. The claimed range is a usable 450 km on a single charge. The charging time to go from 10% to 70% is 30 minutes. I shall keep an eye out for more details in this regard.
