The latest Hyundai Tucson is available in both Petrol and Diesel variants. Thanks to Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design language, the Tucson manages to look fairly flamboyant. There’s also enough kit on offer. In comparison, the Tiguan’s design is all about clean surfaces and understated elegance. Also, the Tiguan has gone on sale with just one Diesel engine.

Both the SUVs get 2.0-litre engines that have a healthy power output. The Tiguan misses out on a Petrol engine option, which means the Tucson has some advantage here.
