Mahindra has unveiled the XUV300 Sportz at the Auto Expo which now makes it the most powerful sub-compact SUV. So, what has changed with it?

Besides having an electric affair this year, Mahindra showcased a very exciting ICE-powered product. Mahindra revealed the XUV300 Sportz at the Auto Expo 2020, which has got all the eyes in case of driving enthusiast buyers.

Mahindra XUV300 Sportz technically gets a new 1.2 Litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol GDI engine. The existing motor is an MPFI unit, with the former producing more power. Both the engines will co-exist with each other once the Sportz is introduced.

Inside the cabin, there are candy red accents on the steering wheels, centre console and dashboard. Mostly, the production version will get all-black interiors with the same colour for the seat upholstery as well.

The regular XUV300 gets a 1.2 Litre turbo-petrol motor, which produces 108 BHP and 200 Nm. The 1.5 Litre diesel engine churns out 115 BHP and 300 Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT. The diesel XUV300 is also the most powerful in its segment.
