Digital automobile artists often create distinctly attractive virtual renditions of mass-market cars
In this post, we take a look at the details of this unique Maruti Dzire widebody concept. In the last few years, I have been reporting on creative artists and their renditions of prominent vehicles. While we are used to experiencing these cars on a daily basis in their stock avatar, such deviations are much appreciated. Dzire is one of the most successful models from the largest carmaker in the country. It has been on sale since 2008 and is among the top sellers even today. This latest rendition is based on the current-gen Dzire.
Maruti Dzire Widebody Concept
We experience the specifics of this virtual rendition courtesy of bimbledesigns on Instagram. The first aspect one notices is the low-slung stance, much similar to some rally cars. At the front, the blacked-out bonnet complements the gold colour quite well. I particularly like the segmented elements inside the headlamp cluster. The sleek headlamp modules are connected via a thin LED strip, which encounters the blacked-out Suzuki logo in the middle. Dow below, the true nature of the low-slung or bagged concept comes to the fore.
The bumper is almost touching the ground and embodies massive black aero flaps on either side. Moving to the sides showcases the widebody concept. The fenders are prominent and the low-profile Goodyear Eagle tyres from are almost touching the car’s body. Again, the side body claddings are caressing the surface, while the extended muscular shoulder enhances the road presence significantly. Towards the rear, we witness the massive spoiler mounted on the bootlid, Y-shaped LED headlamps connected by a black panel and a sporty bumper. Overall, this has to be among the most enticing versions of the Maruti Dzire I have come across in a while.
My View
As mentioned previously, I have seen innumerable iterations of popular cars undergo a massive transformation when digital artists work on them. The best part about such concepts is that the artists are not bound by physical limitations. Hence, he/she can let their creativity flow freely and we get such brilliant illustrations.
