Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India said, “The launch of the special edition of the FZ series is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our motorcycles in this series. Our strategic intent is to provide customers with stylish new variants of the FZ series to match his personal style. These bikes have been instrumental in catapulting our sales to an all new level. We have kept the essence of FZ series bikes intact while altering the aesthetics to exemplify the masculine feeling these tough machines are known for. We are confident that these variants too will be an instant hit among the biking enthusiasts.”

We are not very excited by the news, there is nothing new about the two bikes apart from the paint job. Yamaha has been tweaking the paint and graphic options on the bikes for a long time. Though both the bikes are not bad in terms of performance and features, the competition is far to ahead for these special edition bikes to do any serious impact in the market. What do you think?
