Yamaha Saluto RX and 125 launched with Unified Braking System

Yamaha Saluto RX and 125 get Unified Braking system, which is another name for Centralized Braking System. The prices have increased by Rs 3000 – 4000 on each variant.

Yamaha has introduced Centralized Braking System in its 110cc and 125cc commuter motorcycles. Yamaha Saluto RX and 125 get UBS. The prices start at Rs 52,000 going up to Rs 61,500 (ex-showroom).

UBS (Unified Braking System) refers to the process when the rear brake is applied fully, the front brake is also applied partially. Yamaha has intensified its motorcycles under 125cc with UBS for better braking power.

As per the government’s upcoming safety norms, all two-wheelers under 125cc must be equipped with the centralized/synchronized braking system. Two-wheelers above 125cc should be equipped with Anti-Braking System.

Gradually, all the two-wheelers will be updated before the safety norms kick in from April 2019. Some bike manufacturers have already introduced the updated models in India.
