Car enthusiasts are constantly pushing the possibilities of their favorite models. Now, throtl has built an immaculate replica of the famous Toyota Supra from the Fast and Furious movies. It comes with 1,000 hp of power on the wheels. Recently, the famous YouTuber David Patterson took a powerful car down the drag strip for some tests. Unfortunately, he ended up breaking it. As shown in the above video by ThatDudeinBlue, the Fast and Furious Toyota Supra is mighty and comes with a 6XD sequential transmission. The first few runs went smoothly. After getting comfortable with flat-shifting to maintain a boost, the YouTuber attempted a hard launch. However, it seemed that it pushed it over the limit. In this run, the driveshaft wholly sheared. The team had to take the car to throtl HQ on a trailer.
Such incidents are common during testing, especially with super-fast cars. The crew managed to completely repair the driveshaft within a week. Before testing the Fast and Furious Toyota Supra, ThatDudeinBlue also got a chance to try a 500 hp RWD Civic and their hellcat-swapped Dodge Viper. Just like Supra, Viper also comes with 1,000 hp of power. David found it quite hard to keep it in a straight line. Handling a supercar is not an easy task.

1,000-HP Fast And Furious Drag Supra Specs
The replica unit comes with a Haltec 2500 elite ECU. The engine gets 2JZ upgrades like Wiseco forged pistons, Brian Crower valves, valve guides, a camshaft kit, ARP Head studs, a Garrett G40 1200 turbo, and a 4-inch Magna flow exhaust. Additionally, the Supra chassis is based on KW V3 coilovers with rear control arms. It also gets a full roll cage by legendary drag Supra shop Titan Motorsports.

On the outside, the boosted Supra features a full widebody with an original Seibon hood and APR rear wing. It also gets a carbon interior and Recaro Podium seats. throtl has also added Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires. There is Motegi 2-piece forged wheels (19 inches in the front and 15 inches in the rear). The original Toyota Supra from the Fast and Furious movie was sold at an auction in 2021. It fetched over half a million dollars at this auction. A stock MKIV Toyota Supra comes with a starting price of Rs 85 Lakh.
