New York International Auto Show 2011 starting April 2011 may bring a a New improved Suzuki Kizashi to be showcased by Suzuki Japan. The same sports sedan has been recently launch in India by the Maruti Suzuki and has been doing good in terms of sales. Although there is no information available as of now about the new improvements, but a higher capacity engine with turbocharger is expected. Maruti Kizashi Bookings Higher Than Expected

Maruti Suzuki does know what it is doing when it comes up with a new product. The brand name has become very strong and reliable in India that people rely on it. The same goodwill and customer confidence is working wonders for the recently launched luxury sports sedan Maruti Suzuki Kizashi in India. There has been more than 350 bookings for Kizashi within 4 weeks of its official launch in India. Mayank Pareekh, Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. quoted on this achievement: Bookings for Kizashi have beaten company expectations. Which is surely a good sign of buyer’s trust and affinity towards the luxury sports sedan. Maruti Kizashi has been launched on 2nd Feb 2011 with an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 16.5 Lakhs for Manual transmission to Rs. 17.5 Lakhs for CVT automatic transmission. Suzuki Cars To Run On Volkswagen Engines Soon

A couple of months we brought a news to you regarding the interest being showed by Maruti Suzuki in Volkswagen group and even reported about Maruti cars wearing VW and Skoda badges and now the story has been continued as Suzuki corporation is all set to sign sale agreement with VW. But what is more interesting is that the cars from the former are supposed to sport engines suplied by VW group. It certainly sounds interesting and believing in the reports, Suzuki is sourcing engines from the German giant for its upcoming Maruti Suzuki Kizashi which is due for its launch in February 2011. Prior to the agreement between VW and Suzuki, the latter had been in an agreement with General Motors for sourcing engines and transmissions for its mid size cars, but was later discontinued. This not only confirms that Suzuki is working alone but also brings in the need of an engine sharing deal and hence being a reliable manufacturer, VW is said to be the one who is going to work with the company from now onwards. Buy Maruti Suzuki Kizashi In India – Details And Price

Maruti Suzuki has displayed its luxurious sedan Maruti Suzuki Kizashi at the Auto Expo 2010. Earlier it was expected that the launch of this Sedan will be around the end of 2010. There were some delays over the decision to assemble it in India as CKD or to get it as a CBU from Suzuki Japan, or manufacture it locally. As of now, the decision of importing it as a CBU has been taken. The car will be launched in India around March 2011 as a completely built unit attracting a hefty 110% import duty. This duty will mean higher price tag for end consumers. Maruti will try to see the response of Maruti Kizashi in India before taking any steps further to assemble or manufacture it in India locally. The price of Maruti Kizashi is expected to be between Rs. 15 and Rs. 18 lakhs.
