2015 Porsche Cayenne Launched In India At Rs. 1.02 Crores

German automobile manufacturer Porsche has launched its facelifted 2015 Porsche Cayenne in India. As of now, 4 variants of the car will be available in India- Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S Diesel, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo. These variants come with improved power and torque which delivers better fuel efficiency.

What’s New in 2015 Porsche Cayenne?

Exteriors

The 2015 Cayenne now comes with more prominent design and refreshed body, bonnet, air blades and front wings. The bumper and grille of the car are noticeably redesigned.

2015 Cayenne gets 4-point LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights. It also gets such rear lights which create a 3-D effect. The brake lights now come in 4 elements. The look of the car is sophisticated and it segregates the license plate and lights in the automatic boot lid which is fitted in the car as standard.

Interiors

At the front, it gets 918 Spyder based sport steering wheel with shift paddles as standard. Whike the rear is now more comfortable. It comes equipped with seat ventilation which is optional and air suspension (with Porsche Active Sspension Management), 4-zone auto climate control, panorama sunroof and Porsche entry and drive, all these features come as standard.

Performance

Cayenne Diesel is powered by 3-litre V6 engine which churns out 245 HP of maximum power at 3800-4400 rpm and maximum torque of 550 Nm at 1750-2750 rpm. It has a top speed of 218km/h and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds.
Cayenne S Diesel is powered by 4.2-litre V8 engine and produces 385 HP at 3750 rpm and 850 Nm of peak torque at 2000-2750 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 252 km/h.
Cayenne S is powered by 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo engine producing 420 HP at 6000 rpm and 550 Nm torque at 1350-4500 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 259 km/h.
Cayenne Turbo draws power from 4.8-litre bi-turbo V8 engine producing 520 HP power at 6000 rpm and 750 Nm torque at 2250-4000 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. It has a top speed of 279 km/h.
