2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise and Street Comes with Many Styling Updates
Regulars here would remember that we’ve been reporting in details about the new 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 models were revealed recently. The 2018 Avenger, which has gone on sale in both Cruise and Street variants, has a sticker price of Rs 93,466. The styling updates the new motorcycles carry should help it establish a stronger foothold in the market.

The new 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 range comes with new graphics. The new decals are highly reminiscent of those on the V15. Furthermore, the updated cruiser motorcycle gets a new flyscreen that covers the new all-digital speedometer. Also, the headlamp housing gets a brushed aluminum finish. The covers for the side box also get an updated design. The grab rail gets a small cushioned padding while the taillamp is now sleeker and has LED fixtures. The rear fender seems to have become longer.

Both the new Cruise and Street variants of the 2018 Bajaj Avenger have an ex-showroom price of Rs 93,466. It will cost roughly Rs 1,09,000 (on-road) in Mumbai. This would make the updated motorcycle Rs 9,000 costlier than the current model.

The Avenger sports a 4-stroke 220CC engine borrowed from the Pulsar family which delivers a maximum power of 19.3bhp @ 8500rpm and a maximum torque of 19.12Nm @ 7000rpm. The specs might see some revisions to the 2018 model. However, real-world performance isn’t expected to see a drastic change.
