Kia has confirmed that it will launch the Carnival, unveil its new sub-compact SUV and 12 other models on 5th February, at the 2020 Auto Expo.
The 2020 Auto Auto Expo is just two days away. Kia has revealed its plans for the event, as it will launch the Carnival and introduce its upcoming sub-compact SUV. The Carnival has already been unveiled and we have already driven it as well.
Other showcases at the 2020 Auto Expo will include Kia Seltos X-Line and its global EVs. Kia Seltos X-Line is the off-road-focused version of the regular SUV. It gets reshaped front and rear bumpers, bigger and fatter tyres, bumper guards and much more.
Kia is also showcasing the Soul EV and Niro EV at the event. Both are globally popular electric SUVs with a driving range of 450 kms. While the Soul is a proper SUV, the Niro is a crossover electric SUV. At Kia’s 360 Beat Showroom in Cyberhub, Gurgaon, the Soul EV is already on showcase.

Further, Kia will showcase the Xceed, a crossover utility vehicle. Its a hatchback-SUV crossover, something like the S-Cross. Globally, it gets a 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol and a 1.4 Litre turbo-petrol engine. As per its dimensions, it is slightly longer than the Seltos.
Kia Stonic is another crossover SUV which will be seen at the Expo. It is shorter than the Xceed and Seltos, but is slightly tall. We are not sure if these cars will be launched in India anytime soon, but we will get all the details soon.
Lastly, Kia will unveil its sub-compact SUV for the Indian market. It has been already spied testing a couple of times. Based on the Hyundai Venue’s platform, the upcoming small SUV will use the same engines of the former.
